I'll look into getting some kind of add-in to sort by ingredients, since I think at this point the list is very long for me to be able to do it by hand. But I have labeled most of the family recipes on the site as such, if you click on the tag at the bottom of this post, it should bring you to a list of them. They include recipes from my family and from my Norwegian husband's family. So Northern Europe is well represented!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08402921195094964887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002612879648972347.post-66837301344245769212012-03-18T11:11:55.579+01:002012-03-18T11:11:55.579+01:00I also tried it with frozen plums, and it works ou...I also tried it with frozen plums, and it works out very well...Deniznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002612879648972347.post-65828081180246762972012-03-18T11:10:12.855+01:002012-03-18T11:10:12.855+01:00andrea, this is a marvellous recipe. If you're baking outside of the US, a stick of American butter is 113 grams, plus you'll need half of that again (so 56 grams) of either butter or shortening. I hope that clears things up a bit!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08402921195094964887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002612879648972347.post-51409537667276783072011-12-10T12:58:02.889+01:002011-12-10T12:58:02.889+01:00Hi there , please can you explain the measurements...Hi there , please can you explain the measurements/weights for the butter /

Thanks LesleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002612879648972347.post-20010777296487488302011-12-10T12:58:01.326+01:002011-12-10T12:58:01.326+01:00Hi there , please can you explain the measurements...Hi there , please can you explain the measurements/weights for the butter /

Thanks LesleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002612879648972347.post-72786007588833426912011-11-22T00:08:06.220+01:002011-11-22T00:08:06.220+01:00Has anyone tried using frozen plums? Their season is very short, and as the Italian prune plumbs are smaller than normal plums, we elected to fan sliced plums out a little so they'd cook through. If you can use, the prune plums, but the recipe will also work with regular plums.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08402921195094964887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002612879648972347.post-39430037701856079722011-10-06T23:19:51.804+02:002011-10-06T23:19:51.804+02:00I noticed in the MOMA video that you used the larg...I noticed in the MOMA video that you used the larger round plums and not the typical Italian plums. Also you did not cover the batter with them but used only a few slices for each portion of cake. That varied from the recipe given. It's a very simple recipe. The famous Burros plum cake is also a good one.
